The stairlifts by Koppel A.W. comply the applicable law as machines (Machine Directive 2006/42/Ce) and are subject to a specific European standard that is EN 81-40.
They are installed generally when it is not possible to fit in the existing space any lift or elevating platform.
Escalator installation at Parma Airport. The company complies with the applicable harmonised Standard EN 115 in accordance with the Machine Directive and 2006/42/EC.
KOPPEL A.W. designs, installs and maintains escalators, offering a highly competitive quality-price ratio, thanks to the collaboration with specialist sub-contractors.
Our systems can manage height differences of up to 18 m, with 600, 800 or 1000 mm wide steps, and a people carrying capacity of up to 13,500 persons/hour. We can also supply escalators for public use, with reinforced structures and components, and moving pavements (inclination with respect to the horizontal not greater than 12°).
